About the Author
Paul Fletcher is Emeritus Professor of Speech and Hearing Sciences at University College Cork, Ireland. Since the 1970s he has published widely on language development and language impairment in children speaking English, and more recently on those speaking Cantonese and Mandarin. His research focus, initially primarily on syntax, has broadened to include vocabulary, and the interaction between vocabulary and syntax in language development. He is the author, with Ciara O'Toole, of Language Development and Language Impairment: A Problem-based Introduction (2016).Martin J. Ball is Professor of Speech Language Pathology at Link�ping University, Sweden. He is co-editor of the journal Clinical Linguistics and Phonetics (Taylor & Francis), and the book series Communication Disorders Across Languages (Multilingual Matters). His main research interests include sociolinguistics, clinical phonetics and phonology, and the Celtic languages.David Crystal is Honorary Professor of Linguistics at the University of Bangor, UK. Since 1984, he has worked from his home in Holyhead, North Wales as a writer, editor, lecturer and broadcaster on linguistics, applied linguistics, and English language studies. A special feature is an annotated post-World War II chronology of anti-hunger initiatives. Unfortunately, the text relies too strongly on United Nations and World Bank data and methodologies, and too little reflects Third World analysis. Nonetheless, the book is recommended for both academic and large public libraries.

I've been training with Uri for years. Uri is not only very knowledgeable (and believe me, he's a true expert), but he has a clear and consistent way to structure all this knowledge and make it work for you. Thanks to this, he has designed a very original and effective approach combining elements and knowledge from Yoga, Pilates, Kettlebells training and more - into one coherent, consistent and clear method. Needless to say - when the book came out I immediately purchased it, wanting to see how Uri shared his knowledge in a book form, and indeed - this book is a pleasure to read and to apply. It is really accessible and gives a concise and actionable way to start training and enjoy the benefits of Uri's method. Highly recommended.

Needed a lot more polish and vision

There are probably some gems scattered within the text of this book, but they are hard to find. The book is a collection of contributions from various consultants. You know how it goes . . . "shopper marketing" is a hot topic right now, just like "customer relationship management" was at one point, so consultants rush to re-label whatever they are doing so that it fits under the hot topic.
There seems to have been little quality control, beyond copyediting, and not much in the way of a unifying vision. If you really want to learn about "shopper marketing," like I did, you probably won't learn much from this volume. Even the section headed, "What is Shopper Marketing?" doesn't actually define shopper marketing. Overall, this volume was really a disapointment to me.
